Interior design for new homes and furnishing projects in Cheltenham & the Cotswolds

Your home, exactly as you imagined it. Without the months of guesswork.

Moving into a new home is one of those moments that should feel exciting. But for most people, it quickly becomes a project… and not always an enjoyable one.

There are decisions everywhere. Rooms that need to work in ways you haven’t quite figured out yet. Furniture to source that doesn’t exist on the high street. Tradespeople to coordinate. Deliveries to chase. And underneath all of it, a nagging sense that you’re making expensive decisions without quite enough information.

That’s where we come in. As a luxury interior design studio based in Cheltenham, we manage the full process for homeowners across the Cotswolds — from understanding how you want to live, to sourcing, procuring and installing every element of the scheme.

After : Finished sitting room with soft blues, tailored joinery, and layered styling — a calm, welcoming space now fully brought to life.

A comfortably furnished living room, designed to enjoy relaxed gatherings with friends and the far-reaching views of the Cotswold countryside.

Interior design that starts with how you live

Before we talk about sofas or surfaces, we want to understand you.

How do you use your home day to day? Do you have children, dogs, friends who are hard on upholstery? Do you cook seriously, entertain often, work from home? Is this somewhere you’ll be every weekend, or a property that needs to look after itself between visits?

These aren’t incidental questions. They shape every decision – from the fabrics we specify to the flooring we recommend to the layout we suggest.

A home furnishing project that looks beautiful but doesn’t suit the way you live in it is a disappointment, however much it cost. new phrase

Getting this right at the start means you end up with a home that genuinely works for you, not just one that photographs well.

A home should feel like yours from the moment you walk in. Not a project you’re still managing.

Access to suppliers you won’t find yourself

One of the most practical things we bring to a furnishing project in the Cotswolds is access.

A significant portion of the furniture, fabrics and materials we specify aren’t available on the high street and don’t advertise to the public.  They’re trade-only suppliers (often British makers) whose work is exceptional precisely because they’re not competing on price in a retail environment.

You can spend a long time on the internet and never find them.

Through us, you have access to that network directly, with the benefit of our experience in knowing which suppliers deliver consistently, which ones to avoid, and how to get the best from each of them.

Comfortable homes, not showrooms

Something we’ve noticed over the years: everyone we work with (regardless of their taste or budget) wants their home to feel comfortable. Genuinely, properly comfortable. Somewhere you sink into rather than perch in.

That means upholstered furniture that’s made to last and feels as good as it looks. Surfaces that can handle real life. Rooms that invite you to be yourself in, rather than ask you to be careful.

We keep that front of mind throughout every interior design project in Cheltenham and across the Cotswolds. Good design and real comfort aren’t in conflict, but it takes experience to get both right at once.

Relocating to the Cotswolds? We become your eyes and ears.

Many of the clients we work with on Cotswolds furnishing and relocation projects don’t live in the area, or aren’t yet living in the property while work is underway.

We handle everything on the ground. We meet the trades, check the deliveries, visit the property at key stages and keep you informed so you’re never in the dark.  You make the decisions that matter; we manage everything around them.

For second homes and Cotswolds relocations in particular, this tends to be one of the things clients value most. The project moves forward without requiring you to be there for every detail.

Turnkey interior design for second homes and new purchases

If you want to hand over the keys and come back to a finished home, we can make that happen.

A turnkey interior design service means we take responsibility for everything; sourcing, procurement, delivery coordination, installation and final styling, so that when you walk through the door, it’s done. Nothing to unwrap, nothing still on order, nothing left to figure out.

It’s not the right approach for everyone. Some clients prefer to be closely involved throughout. But if handing it over is what you need, we’re well practised at delivering it.

On trust

There’s something worth saying plainly here.

Renovation and furnishing projects are stressful when you don’t fully trust the people involved to have your interests at heart. That’s not a criticism of architects or builders, most are excellent at what they do. But their job is to deliver the structure. Yours is to end up with a home you love.

Our job is to make sure those two things align.

We work for you. We manage suppliers on your behalf, we negotiate with your interests in mind, and we tell you honestly when something isn’t right…whether that’s a product, a decision, or a direction the project is heading.

That’s not something you should have to ask for. It should simply be part of the service.

This tends to suit homeowners who:

✔︎ Are furnishing a newly purchased property or second home in Cheltenham or the Cotswolds

✔︎ Are relocating and want the home sorted properly from the start

✔︎ Want access to suppliers and materials beyond the high street

✔︎ Would rather have one trusted team managing the project than coordinate it themselves

It’ probably not be the right fit if:

You’re looking to furnish one or two rooms rather than a whole home or substantial part of it

You’d prefer to source and manage suppliers and deliveries independently
