Grade II Listed Cotswold Mill, Nailsworth

Coopers Mill

A full case study for this project is on its way. In the meantime, here’s a glimpse of Coopers Mill.

Some spaces arrive with their own personality already formed. This Grade II listed mill in Nailsworth – with its exposed Cotswold stone walls, original oak beams and steel structural columns – asked only to be respected, not reinvented. The interior design work here was about working with the building’s character rather than against it, finding furniture, textures and tones that could hold their own in a space this full of history.
